Weekend Guide
Handpicked, budget-friendly happenings on the UWS, plus a few nearby highlights worth the trip. Not everything happening, just the ones I'd text a friend about. Because "What should we do?" shouldn't be stressful.
Hi loopers,
October is here, and the city is leaning all the way into fall. A lot of fun events! This weekend brings the first Halloween fun, the opening of Día de los Muertos at the New York Botanical Garden, pumpkin patches, a Latin block party right on West 89th, and more than 100 painted lanterns glowing under the Brooklyn Bridge for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Halloween and fall events that run all season, plus dates worth bookmarking, are at the end.
