Weekend Guide
October 23–25, 2026
Handpicked, budget-friendly happenings on the UWS, plus a few nearby highlights worth the trip. Not everything happening, just the ones I'd text a friend about. Because "What should we do?" shouldn't be stressful.
Hi loopers,
Addie and I are back from Cancún, where we celebrated an early Thanksgiving with my family. Lots of pool time, a little rain and a whole lot of smiles. We landed just in time for a big one: Lincoln Center's Open House all weekend, a gnome-themed Halloween party on the High Line, costumed pups in Riverside Park, and Trick-or-Streets on Columbus Avenue on Sunday.
Halloween and fall events that run all season, plus dates worth bookmarking, are at the end, along with indoor favorites. Planning ahead? My Halloween & Día de los Muertos guide rounds up UWS trick-or-treat streets and more.
