Hi loopers,

As July turns into August, two of New York City's favorite summer traditions overlap. Whether you're biking along Summer Streets, heading to the park, or wrapping up the day with a Restaurant Week meal, it's a great weekend to explore the city with kids before summer starts winding down.

As always, everything below is free unless noted, because "What should we do?" shouldn't turn into Saturday morning stress. Don't forget to check out the recurring activities at the end.

Even better? NYC families can trade their child's outgrown clothes for new-to-you favorites.
